Holiday house
2022
NM Art & Design designed the home and garden for holiday living. The architecture was created by Belgian architect Gilles Frankignoulle. The barnhouse – style architecture integrates seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
The house features three bedrooms, a living and dining room, a kitchen, and a large terrace for outdoor living. The terrace includes a barbecue area, a sundeck with an outdoor shower, and a fireplace area.
The simplicity of the barnhouse inspired the design solutions, which include a monochrome colour palette, floor-to – ceiling windows, textured rustic wooden floors, natural linen textiles by De Le Cuona, iconic furniture designs, and an array of contemporary art pieces.
Outdoor living areas were carefully planned with sunlight and shading in mind. The fireplace, facing west to capture sunsets, doubles as an outdoor cinema. The large private terrace is accessible from every bedroom.

NM Art & Design designed the home and garden for temporary family living.
The architecture was created by the Marcel
Wolterink Design Studio in Laren, Netherlands. The house includes five bedrooms, a living and dining room, a kitchen, a spa area, and two home offices. It also features a spacious terrace for outdoor living.
Inspired by the surrounding forest, the design incorporates floor-to – ceiling and ceiling-height windows that blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. The natural oak paneling, neutral colour palette, and linen textiles reflect a minimalist philosophy.
A highlight of this project is the collection of international contemporary art and collectible design objects, which add character and sophistication to the space.
