PAD London 2025 | Berkeley Square
NM Art & Design is pleased to announce its debut at PAD London 2025, which took place in the heart of Mayfair.
Titled Traces, the exhibition brings together a curated selection of works that explore the passage of time and the layers of memory embedded in objects. It reflects on the evolving relationship between past and present, questioning how materials carry history, how they transform, and how meaning is shaped through both natural processes and human intervention.
The exhibition features an international group of artists and designers whose practices engage deeply with material and process. Mike Seymour’s Sfossils evokes geological time through layered constructions, while Momoka Gomi’s Recollection triptych captures traces of life through delicate textile interventions. Adriana Meunié’s Wild Waterfall reflects a strong connection to the natural landscape of Mallorca through the use of local materials.
Drozhdini’s glass and charred oak Heian vase preserves visible marks of its making, emphasizing process as an integral part of the work. Zlata Kornilova’s sculptural pieces highlight the organic evolution of wood through knots, cracks, and grain, while Nitush–Aroosh’s stainless-steel furniture draws on inherited knowledge shaped in their father’s workshop.
Further references to time and place appear in Alexandra Volskaya’s Congaree rug, inspired by a landscape formed over millennia, and Benni Allan’s Low furniture collection, informed by enduring cultural traditions of East Asia.
Together, the works presented in Traces articulate a shared sensitivity to material, memory, and transformation—offering a nuanced reflection on how objects carry, record, and transmit meaning across time.
